The family owned business Paulsen was founded in 1909 in Otterndorf at the Lower Elbe River – between Cuxhaven and Hamburg – and has been producing mildly-sour pickled delicacies and regional specialties with a long tradition and experience. Their focus lies on regionality and contract cultivation. Raw materials are being bought locally and carefully preserved for consumption. Paulsen impresses with a wide range of products which includes crisp pickled gherkins, delicately spiced red and white cabbage, fresh sauerkraut, mildly sour pickled beets, celery, pumpkin and so much more.
