Cheese -Streusel cake is a favorite for all occasions. The streusel crust combined with the succulent cheese cake cream filling and the streusel topping is a delight for the young and the old.

BASIC INSTRUCTIONS: 10" Springform pan, greased; 8Tbs + 2tsp unsalted butter, softened; 4 eggs/divided; 500gr Quark (can be substituted with 17oz 2% greek yogurt), 10oz plain yogurt; 4Tbs milk;

For the streusel crust: grease springform pan; adjust oven rack to the lower third position; preheat oven to 355F; in a medium size bowl combine the streusel mix (Backmischung), butter & 1 egg and beat on low until the mixture resembles wet sand, using the handheld mixer with the beater attachments; pour 3/4 of the streusel crumbs into the prepared springform pan, reserving the remaining crumbs for the crumble topping; press crumbs firmly into the pan bottom and about 1" on the sides of the pan to create a crust; set aside

For the topping mixture: in a medium size bowl combine the topping mix (Belag), yogurt, quark (or greek yogurt), milk and remaining eggs and beat onlow speed until well blended, using a handheld mixer with the beater attachments; TIP: loosely cover the mixing bowl with a sheet of paper towel to prevent from splattering while beating; pour the topping mixture into the springform pan smooth out with a spatula or the back of a spoon; evenly spread the remaining streusel crumbs over the top of the cake; bake for 60 minutes; place springform pan on a cooling rack and allow cake to cool to room temperature before attempting to remove from the pan; lightly dust with the included powdered sugar before serving
