Pfanni Bread Dumplings, The Classic

Do you like classic style bread dumplings? Then this time saving dumplings are the perfect addition to your shopping list. Traditional flavor in no time at all. The ideal companion for classic roasts or a creamed vegetable casseroles.

Preparation:

1. Place desired amount of dumplings into a pot and cover with cold water, add salt to taste. Allow to sit for 10 minutes so the dumplings can rehydrate
2. Bring to a rolling boil and immediately reduce heat to a simmer for 10 minutes.
3. Remove cooked dumplings and briefly blanche them in cold water
4. Remove plastic packaging and serve
