Bay leaves are the perfect addition to flavor spicy roasts and juices, broths, sauerbraten, red cabbage, sauerkraut, venison dishes, fish marinades, paté and sülze. They are also great for pickling gherkins, beets, onions and rustic soups, stews and dark sauces.

Tip: Bay leaves need some time to fully develop their aroma. Therefore, always cook the dried leaves for a while.
